A website is constructed in 2 parts the front end and back end. The back which is not visible has all the functionality {coding}, and the front end is what visitors to your website see and use. The front end is also called the 'interface' and contains all the information architecture, navigation pathways, visual presentation {graphic design, branding}. An effective front end design can be the difference between success and failure
online this means getting the graphic design elements right as well as having the navigation pathways intuitive and in line with your target audiences expectations.
